About
A Virginia Transplant Living in Georgia
Born and raised in the suburbs of Virginia just outside of DC, I’ve slowly worked my way south. I graduated from Virginia Tech in 2006 and then moved on to receive my Masters in Applied Psychology with a focus in Human Factors in 2008 from Clemson University. From there I moved to Georgia to start my career as a Human Factors / UX professional. Since then I’ve grown my career primarily in the Healthcare Tech industry while keeping up to date on current UX standards and best practices so my skillset remains transferrable across all industries. I’m a strong believer in the quote from Susan Dray, “If the user can’t use it, it doesn’t work,” and strive to ensure everything I do works for the end user. Outside of work, I enjoy spending my time traveling to and exploring new places, baking delicious treats for friends and neighbors, and competing in Strongman.
