Conceptual Workflows

More often than not as a UX professional I’m handed a stack of requirements that don’t quite mesh together. My job is to organize the chaos into something that meets both the user’s and business needs. To convey that organized workflow, I use both Axure as well as Adobe XD as tools for communication. Below are a couple examples of how I’ve used Xd to convey my intent to Product Management and Development teams across organizations.

Much like Axure, Adobe Xd allows you to create click-through prototypes to help convey workflow and desired functionality. Above is an example showing the multiple active click points and paths added for the early stages of this project.

Occasionally workflow or layout hasn’t been determined before preparing to present concepts. In those instances, I’ve used Xd to quickly switch between options at the click of a button, easily allowing the team to discuss multiple versions.
